Phindile Tapula’s recognition as a brand ambassador at Brand South Africa represents the latest in a series of accomplishments. Founder and Director at Bhekizenzo Foundation, Mrs Phindile Tapula grew up in the Township called Quarry Heights near Avoca Hills. She has always been passionate about Community Development pertaining skills development and education for the youth. She is experienced in driving life-changing community development campaigns, with Bhekizenzo Foundation impacting 250 young people in Diepsloot.
Phindile’s passion for empowerment of women and young people was kindled by her experience as a student at the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls and continues as she recently launched the Working Moms’ Club. Proving that business can change lives, proceeds from this club are set aside to fund Bhekizenzo Foundation programs.
Mrs Phindile Tapula is a guest blogger for Lionesses of Africa where she engages and shares leadership insights with other female entrepreneurs. She has been featured in the Sunday Times newspaper, Television shows such as Daily Thetha and interviewed at a number of broadcasting mediums such as CapsRadio and the biggest news channel, eNCA. She is frequently interviewed by PowerFM and most recently featured in the Mamas and Papas magazine recognized for being a mother and businesswoman.
Her skillset is brand awareness, strong media and communications expertise. She is currently at Tutwa Consulting Group in the communications function. Popularly known to have given the keynote address at the Investec Annual Mentorship Day, Phindile is a facilitator, MC and renowned speaker, speaking at various corporate engagements.
